A report from the NFL network has suggested that the St. Louis Rams “have discussed signing Tim Tebow.” Rams starting quarterback Sam Bradford was injured in their game with the Carolina Panthers this Sunday and his knee injury is reportedly serious. A long-term injury to Sam Bradford would force the Rams to look for some quarterback help. Bradford was replaced by backup quarterback Kellen Clemens against the Panthers on Sunday. Clemens finished the game 2-of-4 for 19 yards. The Rams do not have another quarterback on their current roster or on their practice squad so they will need to add some depth at the QB position if Bradford missed any future games. The Rams will face a tough Seattle Seahawks team next Monday night. A return to the NFL would mean everything for Tebow. Tebow last saw regular-season action in Week 16 last year as a member of the Jets. He was released by New York in April and was then signed by the New England Patriots later in that same offseason. Tebow did not impress during preseason and he was cut. Tebow would bring some much-needed attention to St. Louis and if brought on he could prove to be an interesting match with head coach Jeff Fischer. Despite his potential upside, Tebow is a big risk. However, he may be a risk worth taking for a struggling Rams squad. The post Is it Tebow Time in St. Louis? appeared first on UTSN - The Universal Takeover Sports Network.
