Two seasons ago, I thought that Tashard Choice had the very real possibility of becoming the Dallas Cowboys running back of the future, instead it looks as if there is the possibility that Choice could either be released or traded by the Cowboys. ESPN Dallas writer Tim MacMahon seems to think that the Cowboys could be moving on without Choice in their plans.
Choice will turn 27 in November and it appears in the early stages of Cowboys camp, that second-year RB Lonyae Miller might have the advantage over Choice as becoming the backup to RB Felix Jones who has now become the starter for Dallas after Marion Barber was released.Lonyae Miller backed up Ryan Mathews while at Fresno State and was an undrafted free agent last season.
