Two of college football's all-time offensive legends are set to meet in the SEC Greatest Player Tournament presented by Direct Auto Insurance.
Running back Bo Jackson (Auburn) and quarterback Peyton Manning (Tennessee) still rank among the most celebrated careers of any player in conference history. Jackson ran up 4,303 career yards and 45 total touchdowns en route to the 1985 Heisman Trophy while Manning posted 89 passing TDs and set multiple passing records on his way to a 1997 Heisman runner-up finish.
As two of the Vaught Region's top-three seeds, Manning and Jackson compose the highest-seeded matchup of the tournament's Sweet 16. Both players were good enough

The other half of the offense-focused Vaught Region is made up of two former Auburn stars, Terry Beasley (No. 8 seed) and Cam Newton (No. 4). Beasley was an All-American receiver in the late '60s and early '70s, while Newton, of course, was a one-year wonder for the Tigers who hoisted the 2010 Heisman winner.
In the defense's Neyland Region, Glenn Dorsey (LSU) meets Reggie White (Tennessee) while Cornelius Bennett (Alabama) and Patrick Willis (Ole Miss) make up the final matchup.
But it's clear that the most riveting matchup will take place in two of the most accomplished backfield competitors in SEC history. Will Bo Jackson and Peyton Manning advance to the Elite Eight? Could one of these two be the greatest player in conference history? You decide.

According to Jarrett Bell of USA TODAY Sports, the Indianapolis Colts plan on honoring Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning when Denver comes to town ten days from now.
The details of the festivities are still being worked out, but it should be a very fun Sunday Night in Indy.
“We’re going to have a great tribute to him,” said Colts owner Jim Irsay. ”It’s going to be something...
The Colts will pay tribute to Peyton Manning when he returns to Indianapolis next week.

Indy has usually celebrated the return of former longtime stars, such as Edgerrin James and Jeff Saturday, with a highlight reel of the players' careers between the third and fourth quarters. USA Today reported Wednesday that the...
Thank goodness for Peyton the business man that has ownership in Papa Johns and makes these commercials tolerable to watch. Too bad he couldn’t call a audible on the taste. See the Video below:

What happens when two teams that are going in completely opposite directions meet up on Sunday? The biggest point spread in NFL history.
Peyton Manning and Denver (5-0) will play at Jacksonville (0-5) in a game where the Broncos are favored by 28.5 points. And that's just the early line, meaning that it could move higher or lower before the 4 p.m. kick.
The Broncos have the...
The Denver Broncos are starting to remind people of the 2007 New England Patriots. After hanging 51 points on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Peyton Manning and company are now averaging an incredible 46 points per game. The Patriots were “only” averaging 36 points per game after five games in ’07. Things get much easier […]
The 5-0 Denver Broncos have already been installed as 28 point favorites over the 0-5 Jacksonville Jaguars next week in what will be the largest point spread (and biggest mismatch) in NFL history. The Broncos may score 12 touchdowns before the Jaguars complete a forward pass. It's going to be such a blowout, it'll make Ohio State vs Florida A&M look like an instant...
Indianapolis won seven of the first nine AFC South titles. Now, the Colts are back on top of the division.
For the first time in the post-Peyton Manning era, Indianapolis (4-1) has taken sole possession of the division lead - one game ahead of Tennessee and two ahead of two-time defending division champ Houston with no intention of giving it up. The Colts are one of four NFL teams...

Tweet In case you haven’t been paying attention, Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos offense has looked like something out of a game of Madden over the first five weeks of the season. Up next in the Broncos line of fire is the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars, who have in contrast looked like one of the […]
Denver Broncos Executive vice president of football operations John Elway says the Denver Broncos 51-48 win against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday was a “confidence builder.” The win was the narrowest margin of victory so far this season for the 5-0 Broncos. “If you look at the first four

Answering fan questions on ESPN Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater compared himself to Peyton Manning. Ironically, the question came from a UK fan.
* THESE RANKINGS ARE BASED NOT JUST ON RECORD, BUT OVERALL PERFORMANCE AND STRENGTH OF TEAM.1) Denver Broncos (5-0) – Peyton Manning is playing at an All-World level. Once they get Von Miller back, that defense is going to be greatly improved. Even so, who is going to score that many points and keep up with them?2) New Orleans Saints (5-0) – Drew Brees is an animal, and Rob Ryan’s...
(Eds: With AP Photos.) By HOWARD FENDRICH AP Pro Football Writer Bad as the expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers were in 1976, going 0-14 on the way to what became a 26-game losing streak, they never were as big of an underdog as the Jacksonville Jaguars are against the Denver Broncos this weekend.
And good as the nearly perfect New England Patriots were in 2007, 16-0 during the regular...
