Bills Insider:
Buffalo Bills interim head coach Perry Fewell studied the play of running backs Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson during practice last week to determine who would get the start Sunday against Miami.
Fewell proved that he could go against the grain when he named Ryan Fitzpatrick the starting quarterback over Trent Edwards entering week 11?s game against Jacksonville. The coach did it again when he went with Jackson, who has spent the last two years as Lynch?s backup.
The radical thought process not only gave Jackson the confidence he needs, it appears the rest of the Bills have the shot in the arm as well.
