Jaguars rookie to be out the rest of the year after devastating news
Corey Perrine/Florida Times-Union / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Jacksonville Jaguars just got some devastating news regarding one of their 2023 rookies.

Defensive back Christian Braswell, who the Jaguars drafted in the sixth round, was placed on the injured reserve list a while back as he was dealing with a pretty serious injury.

Twenty-one days ago, his 21-day practice window opened for him to return from IR. Unfortunately, his time is up, and he was not able to make a comeback, which means he is out for the rest of the season.

Braswell did, though, play just nine snaps on the year, all nine on special teams, throughout three different games, so it's not like this is a huge blow to the Jaguars. But it still sucks for the young guy.
