Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Terrance Knighton threatened to "shoot people" at a Jacksonville nightclub Sunday morning, according to NFL.com.Even though no one got "shot", the incident still resulted in a eye injury, which required surgery.The report (below) explains that Knighton was kicked out of Pure Nightclub after getting into a fight that resulted in cuts to his eye and the back of his head. An officer wrote that Knighton and a friend "repeatedly made threats to shoot people".On Tuesday, the Jaguars released a statement about the matter, "We are aware of the incident report regarding Terrance Knighton. We hold all our players to a high standards of behavior, as does the National Football League. We're concerned about this matter, and it is being handled internally. We'll have no further comment at this time".
