Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union reports the Jaguars will sign tight end Ernest Wilford on Thursday. The 6-4, 235-pound Wilford was a fourth-round pick by the Jaguars out of Virginia Tech in 2004. Wilford caught 141 passes for 1,094 yards and 14 touchdowns between 2004-07, before signing a four-year, $13 million contract with the Miami Dolphins in 2008. After catching three passes for 25 yards in 7 games in '08, the Dolphins released Wilford, who returned to the Jaguars in 2009. Wilford caught 11 passes for 123 yards and a touchdown in 15 games, including 7 starts last season.
