Jaguars vs. Titans: Tyson Campbell Listed as DNP For Thursday's Practice
USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars didn't have any changes on Thursday's injury report, with cornerback Tyson Campbell (hamstring) and wide receiver/returner Jamal Agnew (shoulder/ribs) listed as "did not participate".

The Jaguars also had wide receiver Zay Jones (knee), right tackle Anton Harrison (back), and defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris (ankle) on the injury report.

Campbell injured his hamstring in Week 6 and missed the following two games vs. the New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers. He returned in Week 10 to face the San Francisco 49ers but left after 32 snaps due to an issue with the injured hamstring.

Campbell was replaced for the first two weeks by Montaric Brown, but Week 10 saw Gregory Junior step into the starting defense when Campbell went down.

“Hopefully Tyson can go. Then if he can’t, we’re comfortable with throwing G-Money [Greg Junior] out there, Buster [Montaric Brown] has played well for us. We have a few options, a bunch of young guys that are just chomping at the bit to get the opportunity," Jaguars defensive coordinator Mike Caldwell said on Thursday.

Sunday's loss to the 49ers was Junior's most extended action this season after he injured his hamstring in Week 1 and missed the rest of the first-half of the season. Junior made his return in Week 10 and could be slotted to start vs. the Tennessee Titans if Campbell doesn't play.

“I think he performed well. He went out there and it’s good to see him get back out there, played a little special teams early then he played defense once Tyson went down," Caldwell said. "It was good to see him get back in action and hopefully we’ll see more of it.”
