The Kansas City Chiefs have shown nothing but pure ineptness this year, working their way to a 1-10 season and they were the first team mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.A Kansas City news station obtained this video, and I’d be willing to be that Dwayne Bowe and Jamaal Charles will take a little bit of heat for what they did.  It’s not often that you see players seek out other players for autographs after a game, but it’s not like it’s never happened before.  Plus, after losing a game they could have won, the local sports shows will need something to complain about.Charles and Bowe still have another matchup against Peyton and the Broncos, perhaps this time now that they have their memories, they can work on winning the game.H/T: Big Lead Sports

Charles & Bowe ran down Peyton Manning for autographs after defeat.

NFL division rivalries are the fabric of the league. The fans of the teams associated with the rivalries share a deeply rooted disgust with the opponents with their team of choice and that emotion is one of the league’s greatest selling points. It’s understandable that Kansas City Chiefs fans are really upset with Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe at the moment. Please Click...

Chiefs players pay respect to Manning

Jamaal Charles had just rushed for over 100 yards for the second time in three games. Dwayne Bowe, to little fault of his own, had hauled in just four passes for 41 yards. Unfortunately for Chiefs fans, both were on the losing end of a game for the 8th consecutive time, this time at the hands of the second-winningest quarterback in NFL history. Peyton Manning. The commercial icon...

Bucs young DBs prepare for Manning challenge

Greg Schiano didn't have to follow the NFL closely over the past decade-plus to keep up with the exploits of Peyton Manning. Tampa Bay's first-year head coach was an assistant with the Chicago Bears when Manning began his pro career in 1998, then spent two years as an assistant at the University of Miami and the next 11 transforming one of college football's worst programs...

Chiefs' Charles get Manning's autograph

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles and wide receiver Dwayne Bowe are big fans of Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. Charles was so impressed that he approached Manning for an autograph after the game, according to a KCTV report. The station broadcasted a video of Charles waiting for Manning as he left the stadium, following Kansas City's eighth straight...

Manning throws 2 TDs in Broncos' win

Peyton Manning threw for 285 yards and two touchdowns, and the Denver Broncos rallied to beat the woeful Kansas City Chiefs 17-9 on Sunday for their sixth straight win. Manning hit tight end Jacob Tamme late in the first half and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas in the third quarter, and that was more than enough to overcome three field goals by the Chiefs' Ryan Succop as Kansas...

Top 10 most searched athletes; Peyton Manning #1

Peyton Manning has taken over the reigns as the most searched athlete on Bing in 2012, with last year’s winner Maria Sharapova coming in as #4 most searched athlete overall, while remaining the most searched female athlete. Tiger Woods and his up-and-down performance on the links continued to capture the hearts and minds of fans, as he came in at #2 for the second consecutive...

Broncos one game away from clinching AFC West

The Denver Broncos can clinch the AFC West with one more win or one more San Diego Chargers loss. The 8-3 Broncos will win the AFC West title for a second consecutive year and finish no worse than a No.4 AFC playoff spot, if they beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. "No. 1, we don't want to worry about all that," Broncos...

Everyone knows that being a NFL quarterback can be the most challenging task in a career for a pro athlete. Some athletes are just born with the tenacity to overcome droughts and miscues.Andy Dalton, on the other hand, has exceeded everyone's expectations during his first two seasons, and his second year is not complete yet. He has joined a category that no one has been in since...

Vote: Who is the Best Team in the AFC?

After a smorgasbord of football feats during Thanksgiving week gave NFL fans everywhere an opportunity to satisfy their appetites, four teams are starting to set themselves apart from the rest of the AFC. The Denver Broncos — thanks in large part to Peyton Manning and a disappointing Chiefs’ team — won again on Sunday, and increased their lead in the AFC West over the San Diego...

Denver Broncos: On Their Way to the Super Bowl

The Denver Broncos currently have a record of 8-3, have won their past six games and are sitting comfortably atop of the AFC West division. With quarterback Peyton Manning and the rest of the Denver Broncos playing well, two questions come to mind.First, can the Broncos run the table and finish the season with a 13-3 record? Second, how well will the Broncos do in the playoffs?This...

Dwayne Bowe Ineffective vs. Denver

Kansas City wideout Dwayne Bowe saw 12 targets Sunday but had just four receptions for 41 yards.Fantasy Spin:Bowe had to catch passes from Brady Quinn while watching Peyton Manning sling the ball to Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker. How cruel. He should be parked on fantasy benches.

Broncos on verge of winning the West

(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated.) By EDDIE PELLS AP National Writer Before the season begins, almost every team puts these words near the top of a long list of goals: ''Win the division.'' That's all but a foregone conclusion in Denver, though when the Broncos wrap up the AFC West, there won't be much of a celebration. They didn't bring Peyton Manning...

Cold Water For A Few Media Storylines

We’ll go with some random thoughts this morning, while attempting to debunk a few of the media’s favorite storylines right now. I looked for it, but didn’t see the nationwide outrage last night as the New York Giants led the Green Bay Packers by 28 points and Eli Manning was in the game, throwing for the end zone on 4th down with 5:03 remaining in the game. On Thursday night...

The Green Bay Packers Are Cooked... Or Are They?

The New York Giants delivered a 38-10 haymaker to the Green Bay Packers last night.   The Giants could have scored 50 if they really wanted to.   From the looks of things last night Green Bay is toast and will skid to a 7-9…8-8 season and miss the playoffs.   Or will they?   Recent NFL and especially New York Giant history tells an interesting tale that Packer fans can...
