Dallas Cowboys And The NFL:
IRVING – If Cowboys veteran ILB Bradie James returns next season, he’ll play with a sense of urgency.
That’s because he sees the “window closing” on the team’s title chances.
“I’m going into my ninth year,” James said. “I can remember when I first stepped on campus, actually. So we don’t have time. I’m not on scholarship. The realization of this game is, we’ve got to make something happen now, or I’m going to retire a non-Super Bowl winner. That’s just how it goes.”
And when the Cowboys do win next season, James will celebrate each one with enthusiasm after going 6-10 this season.
“Next year, whenever we play, however we win, I will definitely celebrate – ugly wins, blowouts, whatever it is, because they’re so precious,” he said.
