Found March 11, 2014 on Phoenix Sports-Kings:
( Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports) The Arizona Cardinals  have found themselves a new  starting eft tackle. Jared Veldheer is leaving the Bay and  headed out to the desert, after signing on with the team on a five year deal worth $35 million this afternoon. The  former Oakland Raider was apparently offered a new deal by General Manager Reggie McKenzie, but opted not to sign back on and test the market instead. The 6’8 , 321 pound Tackle, was one of  many popular names floating around the league,  right before the start of free agency. It didn’t take very  long for the four year  veteran to find himself a new home either. The addition of Veldheer fills a glaring need at  tackle, a position the Cardinals seem to ignore every year.  Arizona was also rumored to be highly interested in Branden Albert, but  signing Veldheer shows that Cards general manager Steve Keim isn’t  afraid to take chances on the younger guys instead. Veldheer is only 26 and three years younger than Branden Albert. Arizona will probably end up benefiting  more in the long run anyway, going with a cheaper and healthier alternative. With the tackle position now filled for the Cardinals, expect them to look at other positions of need in the first few rounds of May’s draft. Jared Veldheer’s TV look-alike

Oakland left tackle Jared Veldheer is expected to be a highly-coveted left tackle in today’s free agency action. What the hell are the Oakland Raiders thinking?

The Oakland Raiders entered free agency with about $60 million in salary cap space, which was apparently an NFL record.  And while building through free agency is hardly ever the answer, we're baffled by what Oakland has done (or failed to do) thus far in the process.  The Raiders have inexplicably let their top free agents walk. Lamarr Houston, who led the team in...
