In his first game as a Jacksonville Jaguar, DE Jason Babin's shot to Buffalo Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick's head will cost him $21,000, the league announced.
It is his third fine this year. He was fined and $15,750 for roughing up Brandon Weeden in Week 1 and $15,750 in Week 3 for a horse collar tackle.
Babin was surprisingly released by the Philadelphia Eagles, only to get picked up off of waivers by Jacksonville.
He had signed a 5-year deal worth $28 million with Philadelphia, and the Jaguars will pay him the remainder of his 2012 salary, $1.69 million. If he plays beyond this year at Jacksonville, they'll inherit the rest of the contract.
