Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett is a dead man walking and owner Jerry Jones is leading his parade.
In another episode of ‘Dallas’ Jones confirmed that offensive coordinator coach Bill Callahan will be calling the offensive plays.
Garrett was critical when asked who would be calling plays, saying ‘it was still in the process,’ too bad that process didn’t include the head coach.
According to Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Jones said Callahan would call the team’s offensive plays this year.
Garrett on the other hand can’t be too happy, after having their draft board leaked and the fact the grading was far from the majority of other NFL teams, no one would blame him for just walking away.
Jones had said earlier this offseason Callahan was the guy, but Garrett disputed the decision saying ‘it wasn’t a done deal and that it take an entire staff to have good playcalling.’
Well it seems it is and it is becoming very apparent that Garrett is quickly becoming a lame duck coach and 2013, outside of a playoff berth, it would be surprising if he returns for 2014.
