Houston’s defense has done great this year, only allowing just under 200 passing yards and 85 rushing yards per game. The Jacksonville Jaguars offense is the worst in the NFL and the Houston defense will allow only two field goals and no touchdowns. They will also pick off Blaine Gabbert twice and they will get 10-15 points.

Early on in my still-young blogging career, I wrote for SBNation's Big Cat Country. The lead manager there, Alfie Crow, is one of the more opinionated Jaguars writers out there, including print newspapers, Jaguars.com, etc. I often disagree with him, but his recent piece detailing why the Jaguars will likely gear up for Gabbert again in 2013 is dead on.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Greg Jones, meet Greg Jones.
The Joneses crossed paths for the first time this week in Jacksonville's locker room, the veteran fullback nicknamed "The Bull" exchanging pleasantries with the second-year linebacker probably best known for proposing to his girlfriend on the field after the Super Bowl.
The meeting was a little strange, and being...
Yesterday the Jacksonville Jaguars signed Greg Jones, a sixth-round pick of the Giants in 2011, actually opened his rookie year as a starter. But he was quickly demoted, finished out the year as a special teamer and was then released at final cuts. Jones will be depth behind Paul Posluszny in Jacksonville.
This is huge news for Greg Jones, who had a workout earlier this year with...

Still the worst team in the NFL. I think the Chiefs are more likely than they are to win another game the rest of the way. They rank dead last in both yards per play differential and rate of sustaining drives differential. In yards per play differential, they are at -1.1. No one else is worse than -0.9. In rate of sustaining drives they are -14.8%,...
Jacksonville Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey told reporters,
including Vito Stellino of the Florida Times-Union, that running back Maurice
Jones-Drew is the only player “definitely out” for the team’s upcoming game
against the Houston Texans.
Mularkey says that MJD is the only player definitely out for the Houston game. Decisions to be made on other ailing players.
The Jacksonville Jaguars' are beyond quick fixes. They don't need miracles. They are a franchise in need of a serious makeover. Here are five ideas that may get them started on the yellow brick road to Oz. That is if Oz is a technicolor land of wins. 5. Not Tim TebowThis isn't a knock on Tebow. I have nothing against him. He has a remarkable ability to rise...
Arian Foster is a must-start every week, obviously. Against this weak Jacksonville Jaguars defense, who average giving up 135 rushing yards a game, expect a big 100+ yard game for Arian. LeSean McCoy is someone who is your first pick and you were looking for him to do better than he has with a disappointing 700 yards and only two touchdowns in nine games. Now he has added in...
As week 11 and a second matchup versus the Jacksonville Jaguars looms, we reach out to our favorite Jaguars blog, @BlackandTeal, more specifically, editor @LukeNSims. Luke looks at QB Blaine Gabbert’s performance, top 2012 draft pick Justin Blackmon, and the Jaguars bright spot of a disappointing 2012 season… go ahead and read below to find out what that pleasant surprise is...
In this week’s episode, we check in with Twitter favorite and Jaguars fan everydude, Andy Willis. Andy is as diehard as diehards come. We have a Twitter bet for (apparently) every Texans/Jaguars (not Jags – seems they don’t like that) match-up. It’s an avatar wager and if I win, he gets this.
If he wins, I get… I don’t know. Does it matter? It seems...
