Arian Foster is a must-start every week, obviously.   Against this weak Jacksonville Jaguars defense, who average giving up 135 rushing yards a game, expect a big 100+ yard game for Arian. LeSean McCoy is someone who is your first pick and you were looking for him to do better than he has with a disappointing 700 yards and only two touchdowns in nine games. Now he has added in three touchdowns receiving but still that’s not what your hoping for out of your first pick. He was my first draft pick also but I am keeping him because I think he is right on the edge of turning his season around. He has had 200 yards combined in the past two games. He is on the verge of breaking out and in this rivalry game I think he will. Expect 90 yards or more and at least one touchdown whether it is receiving or rushing.   Week 11 Top 20 Running Backs: Arian Foster, Hou LeSean McCoy, Phi Ryan Mathews, SD Doug Martin, TB Steven Ridley, NE Ray Rice, Bal Alfred Morris, Wsh Matt Forte, Chi Trent Richardson, Cle Frank Gore, SF Steven Jackson, Stl DeMarco Murray, Dal BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Cin Reggie Bush, Mia Michael Turner, Atl Willis McGahee, Den Jamaal Charles, KC LaRod Stephens-Howling, Ari Shonn Greene, NYJ Rashad Jennings, Jac

Jags figure two Greg Jones are better than one

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Greg Jones, meet Greg Jones. The Joneses crossed paths for the first time this week in Jacksonville's locker room, the veteran fullback nicknamed "The Bull" exchanging pleasantries with the second-year linebacker probably best known for proposing to his girlfriend on the field after the Super Bowl. The meeting was a little strange, and being...

After the fall through, the UFL still helps one player get to the NFL

Yesterday the Jacksonville Jaguars signed Greg Jones, a sixth-round pick of the Giants in 2011, actually opened his rookie year as a starter. But he was quickly demoted, finished out the year as a special teamer and was then released at final cuts. Jones will be depth behind Paul Posluszny in Jacksonville. This is huge news for Greg Jones, who had a workout earlier this year with...

Jacksonville Jaguars: Week 11 NFL Power Rankings (#32)

Last week: 32 (+0) Record: 1-8 Still the worst team in the NFL. I think the Chiefs are more likely than they are to win another game the rest of the way. They rank dead last in both yards per play differential and rate of sustaining drives differential. In yards per play differential, they are at -1.1. No one else is worse than -0.9. In rate of sustaining drives they are -14.8%,...

Alfie Crow is on to something

Early on in my still-young blogging career, I wrote for SBNation's Big Cat Country. The lead manager there, Alfie Crow, is one of the more opinionated Jaguars writers out there, including print newspapers, Jaguars.com, etc. I often disagree with him, but his recent piece detailing why the Jaguars will likely gear up for Gabbert again in 2013 is dead on. Blaine Gabbert...

Jaguars Injury Report: Maurice Jones-Drew Out vs. Texans

Jacksonville Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey told reporters, including Vito Stellino of the Florida Times-Union, that running back Maurice Jones-Drew is the only player “definitely out” for the team’s upcoming game against the Houston Texans. Mularkey says that MJD is the only player definitely out for the Houston game. Decisions to be made on other ailing players. — Vito...

JDub's Fantasy Football Week 11 Predictions -- Defense

Houston’s defense has done great this year, only allowing just under 200 passing yards and 85 rushing yards per game. The Jacksonville Jaguars offense is the worst in the NFL and the Houston defense will allow only two field goals and no touchdowns. They will also pick off Blaine Gabbert twice and they will get 10-15 points.   Week 11 Top 15 Defense: Houston Atlanta Chicago...

Five Ways To Fix the Jacksonville Jaguars (And No, It's Not Tim Tebow)

The Jacksonville Jaguars' are beyond quick fixes.  They don't need miracles. They are a franchise in need of a serious makeover. Here are five ideas that may get them started on the yellow brick road to Oz.  That is if Oz is a technicolor land of wins. 5.
