Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jerome Simpson has been suspended by the NFL for the first three weeks of this coming season and docked an additional game check for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

Simpson’s punishment stems from a felony drug charge that he received after his girlfriend signed for a large package of marijuana at his house last season.

So far during OTA’s, Simpson has been making some of the spectacular catches that he made last season in Cincinnati.  Once his suspension is over, he’ll have a chance to help out the Vikings offense in a big way.
