PLAYERS: Tony Romo
TEAMS: Dallas Cowboys

Despite the fact that the Dallas Cowboys were one drive away from defeating the Denver Broncos on Sunday,  but ended up squandering the game away with another Tony Romo fourth quarter interception, owner Jerry Jones believes his team had a morale victory. “I do. I know what’s going to happen to me when I say this, but that’s a good term,” Jones said, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.” This is a morale victory. It’s not a loser talking here. We can build off this.  I feel as good as you could possible feel at 2-3. We are going to win enough games to get where we want to be. And get knocking on the door to where we want to be. This was a moral victory to day for us..Yes.” Jones praised Romo’s performance despite the interception. “I see the fundamentals of what our plans were when we were in the off season and Romo was going to take more of a responsibility,” Jones said. “If he plays like that. We are going to have a heck of year and will be knocking on the door. We will beat most teams if we play like that.” Tony Romo didn’t do anything new today.  He once again put up elite numbers, but choked when the game mattered the most. Need NFL Tickets? Loading... One Stat Shows Romo Isn't the Problem with the Cowboys

The Cowboys are off to yet another middling start to the season, sitting at 2-3. There is already whispers of this season being more of the same. Same owner. Same uninspiring head coach. Same quarterback. Yes, when it comes to the Boys, that trinity is the cause and solution to all of the Cowboys problems. After Tony Romo had an excellent day on Sunday, throwing...

Same Old Tony Romo? No.

(Photo Credit: Rob Carr/Getty-Images) Tony Romo, once again, made a terrible mistake late in a game. It’s a story we’ve all seen unfold before, in Washington last year, and in New York and Philadelphia before that. This time, it came during Tony Romo’s single best performance of his career, and it’s infuriating. However, Romo should not be #1 on blame lists on Monday. Because...

When the Denver Broncos come to town on Sunday Dallas fans will get to see the best quarterback in the NFL in Peyton Manning. Who cost the Cowboys more against Broncos: Jason Garrett or Tony Romo?

First and foremost, it should be noted that it is nearly impossible to win a game in the National Football League after allowing more than 40 points. The Denver Broncos somehow pulled it off on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. If Dallas fans want to blame anyone for the loss, they should probably blame their […]

What did the Cowboys learn in the instant classic?

There may never be a more absurdly amazing game ever played in that sun-drenched, indoor stadium than the one that was witnessed on October 6, 2013. It will be measured as a simple loss for many, in a season where they have now lost 3 out of 5 out of the gate, and are on their way to what could be another season that finishes at the break-even record of 8-8. But, those people...
