Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been very involved with talks for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement between the NFL and NFLPA. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and the NFL’s executive labor committee are currently in today’s session.
“Hopefully we will have something for you in an hour or two,” Jones said, according to Daniel Kaplan of the Sports Business Journal.
Reports indicate that the owners are preparing to put their final offer on the table and if it is not accepted, this battle will be heading to court. Stay tuned for any new news today as the negotiations reach their crucial stage.
