After two injury riddled seasons in Dallas, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones knows they can’t solely rely on running back DeMarco Murray to carry the load. “To totally count on that would give you visions of 8-8, because the last two years, we’ve had games that we didn’t have Murray, and we didn’t run the ball as well,” Jones said, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “We didn’t have as good an offense within it. So if we have somebody that could possibly step up there and give you the respite that you need when you don’t have Murray, that’s a big deal for us.” Jones says he thinks rookie Joseph Randle might be able to split carries with Murray. “We really could envision him coming in and having that many plays a game,” Jones said. “One of the advantages, one of the reasons, we wanted him was because he really mirrors a lot of what Murray is, relative to a complete three-down back.” The Cowboys desperately need a complimentary back to Murray. Hopefully Randle is that guy. Need NFL Tickets?

Get rid of Doug Free and his $7 million salary and give Clabo his $3.5 million-$4 million and call it an upgrade...

With less than a minute’s rambling Dallas Coach Jason Garrett managed to dash any realistic hopes that Cowboy nation held for seeing significant team improvement through the NFL draft. “By nature, if you draft too much for need your team probably by definition gets worse,” Coach Garrett told...

Dallas Cowboys GM Jerry Jones was given his job by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones the minute owner Jones fired his friend/coach/former teammate/nemesis/adversary Jimmy Johnson.
Jones will tell you he has always been the General Manager of the team, from day one. In a sense, that is true. But Johnson revealed in 2012 that he and Jones had a contractual agreement that he would have the...

Despite the knee injury that left him broken down during Redskins’ playoff exit, Griffin feels so good about his rookie season that he took the time to taunt his division rival the Dallas Cowboys.

Not only does Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo play golf in his spare time, but he also goes out and gets the nails on his hands and feet taken care of by undergoing a manicure and pedicure done.
I’m speechless. I know a lot of guys have this done and I still don’t understand it.

Now that the Cowboys have paid him a boatload of cash it appears that they may finally be ready to do what they maybe should have done a long time ago.
They are going all in with Romo.
If it sounds like a gamble it is because it is. Romo has collected an impressive stat sheet over the years, but that hasn't translated to wins too often, and certainly not post season...
