Jerry Jones did all the right things, he kept Jason Garrett, he spent big money on free agents, they even moved up in the draft to get the player they wanted. However, everything that was done still has them at 500 and Jones can’t believe after all the moves, the Cowboys are still an average team. There have been rumors that Mike Holmgrem could come in 2013, but it is still 2012 and Jones is wondering, “Where did we go wrong this time?” Can the Cowboys rise up and make the playoffs? They are only one game out of first place; Tony Romo and Dez Bryant are playing at a high level, and the Giants refuse to slam the door shut. Even with that possibility, Jones can’t hide his disappointment in the Cowboys struggles this year.
