Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he's ``not losing any sleep'' over Doug Free starting at right tackle on Sunday against the Redskins. Starter Marc Colombo broke his fibula last Sunday against Green Bay.
Dallas has a veteran line that has played together with very little turnover in personnel, but not much depth.
``I'm not happy because it was necessitated by an injury to Colombo,'' Jones said. ``I feel good that we have an offensive line that didn't require us to see how Free would play in games, which at the end of the day is the only way you really have a feel for how he's going to play.
Free, a fourth-round draft pick in 2007, has worked at both tackle spots. This will be his first start.
``There's a little of me that knows he's been at left tackle and he's going over to right tackle and because of his unique, quick feet and good feet, he may be a better left tackle than he is a right tackle,'' Jones said. ``This is what yo...
