If Jerry Jones were to come out and fire himself as the general manager of the Dallas Cowboys, I believe these would be the words of the pompous owner. “Jerry Jones the owner, must fire Jerry Jones the GM.” He refused to talk about the firing of coaches but Jones, Jason Garrett, Tony Romo and other members of the Dallas Cowboys are furious at the results of the 2012 NFL season, and there is no reason they shouldn’t be. On paper, the Dallas Cowboys are much better than another 8-8 season and missing the playoffs for the third straight season, or are they? The blame will be put on Tony Romo as his three interceptions match his total from the last eight games combined, but the change needed lies in Jerry Jones the G.M., not Tony Romo.… Read more

  • If you Cowboy fans want Jerry Jones to remove himself as GM then you need to do what I am doing. Don't spend another penny supporting a team that is simply an outlet for his massive ego. He cares far more about being a celebrety than putting a winning product on the field. Now mind you he wants to win, but not at the expense of being relegated to a behind the scenes owner.
