Arun MoraceAfter yesterday’s 30-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins, Jets fans were probably more than a little upset with their team. And, in this day and age of social media, took to Twitter to vent their frustration. And it seems as though one of those upset Jets fans decided to tweet something negative at Jets defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson (who has actually been one of the lone bright spots as a superb run defender this year for an otherwise dismal team). In response, this is what Wilkerson had to say, via Twitter account Oversensitive Prust (@Oversensitive8): We don’t know if this is in response to @Oversensitive8 or another Twitter user. But either way, Wilkerson isn’t happy with the reaction he’s getting from Jets fans for the team’s performance. Neither is Chaz Schilens. But that’s not going to change unless the team pulls itself out of the 3-5 hole they’ve dug themselves into after the first half of the season. -By Arun Morace Sports-Kings - The Kings of Sports Lists

Jets coach Ryan still sticking with QB Sanchez

New York Jets coach Rex Ryan said in Monday's teleconference that he is sticking with Mark Sanchez as the starting quarterback, but backup Tim Tebow could get a bigger role. "I think Mark's our guy, there's no doubt about that," Ryan said via the Newark Star-Ledger. Ryan said that Sanchez was "fairly accurate" when he got enough time to throw....

Is Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum's Time Up In New York?

Mike Tannenbaum's words -- "What we've become is a more diverse, dynamic offense" -- may come back to bite him. [Tannenbaum] was giddy when he said those words during a middle-of-the-night conference call to announce he had traded for Tim Tebow -- not just as a back-up quarterback, remember, but as a special secret weapon. This has to be it for Tannenbaum, right...

Mark Sanchez, Eva Longoria Said to Have Split Because Sanchez Was Constantly Upset About Jets

The New York Jets' troubles on the field are causing complications for Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez -- and not just because he could lose some playing time or his starting job if his team continues to play poorly. Sanchez reportedly broke up last week with actress Eva Longoria after dating for several months, but it wasn't the general wear and tear of a celebrity relationship...

Jets sticking with Sanchez at QB

Changes might be coming for the New York Jets. Mark Sanchez losing his starting job won't be among them. Rex Ryan again stood by his quarterback Monday despite Sanchez's struggles in an ugly mistake-filled 30-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday that left the Jets coach searching for answers and fans chanting for Tim Tebow to take over.

Everybody Knows: New York Jets & Dallas Cowboys All Bark No Bite

I’d rather listen to the New York Jets talk than watch them play football. At least their press conferences are interesting. I fear that the Jets idea of offensive rhythm is to curse loudly while listening to “The Super Bowl Shuffle”. Much of the focus has been on the inability of the Jet’s brain-trust to figure out how to utilize Tim Tebow. Calls for Rex Ryan to bench...

Reggie Bush gets last word after Cromartie calls him a 'punk'

Hurricane Sandy wasn't the only blast of wind swirling around in New Jersey this weekend.  While New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie was basically a lot less blustery than his teammates,  who talked trash all week leading up to the game against the Miami Dolphins, it was Cromartie who created a post-game storm by calling Reggie Bush a "punk." You think after...

MIAMI PUTS THE PHIN-ISHING TOUCHES ON JETS

NFL Week 8 Preview: Miami Dolphins at New York Jets

The (3-4) New York Jets’ season could go drastically in two different directions depending on the outcome of their game against the (3-3) Miami Dolphins. Due to the Jets loss last week at New England, they are desperate for a win that would complete the sweep over the Dolphins and leave the Jets with a 3-1 division record even though their overall record would stand at just 4-4...

Jets Introduce Former DE Dennis Byrd With Defense

Former Jets defensive end Dennis Byrd was introduced as the final member of New York’s defense, 20 years after his career ended because of an injury that left him briefly paralyzed. The team is retiring Byrd’s No. 90 jersey at halftime of the game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Byrd came out of the tunnel as his name was announced a few minutes before the game and was...

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- A swarming Miami Dolphins clamped down on the New York Jets to grab a 30-9 victory as heavy winds blew at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Olivier Vernon picked up a blocked punt in the end zone and the Dolphins sacked Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez four times.
