And as we had reports to start the weekend that there would be a 75% chance that the Jets trade Darrelle Revis this week, we have word that they have granted permission to the All-Pro cornerback to visit with the Bucs.  Breakthrough: Jets have granted permission for CB Darrelle Revis to visit Tampa Bay and undergo a physical with the Buccanners, per sources. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 21, 2013 Breakthrough yes. Surprise no. Both sides have been trying to work out a trade but have not been successful. The Jets giving permission to Revis to visit the Bucs and take a physical means there is potentially a deal in place. The reason why a deal could be in place is because the Bucs will not “officially” accept any terms without seeing the All-Pro corner workout out for them. But it has been largely agreed upon many that his knee is not a concern of the Bucs, as Sports Talk Florida’s Jenna Laine reminded us all yesterday. Bucs still interested in Darrelle Revis. I’m told they are comfortable with what they’re hearing about the knee’s progress. — JennaLaineBucs (@JennaLaineBucs) April 20, 2013 If everything works out — an agreement on a contract between the Bucs and Revis and an agreement on compensation between the Bucs and Jets — then expect the deal to be announced as early as Monday.
