Jets Sign FB Hilliard, Waive WR Turner -
The New York Jets announced Tuesday that they have signed fullback Lex Hilliard and waived wide receiver Patrick Turner.
Hilliard was a 6th-round draft pick for the Miami Dolphins back in 2008 and played under current Jets offensive coordinator Tony Sparano. Hilliard provides needed depth the the fullback position with John Connor possibly being unavailable for the team’s next game.
