New York Jets
The New York Jets (3-4) will host the Miami Dolphins (3-3) Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium from East Rutherford, NJ.
Game starts at 1:00 pm on CBS (TV) and WEPN (Radio).
Jets favorites over Dolphins.
Spread is - 2.5 points.
My pick is the Jets.
This will be the final game for the Jets before their bye week. They have to get back at the .500 mark and avoid staying below .500 against their rival Dolphins.
There has been a lot of trash talking between the players and coaches. Jets safety LaRon Landry is going to be head hunting Dolphins running back Reggie Bush while he should be more concern abut trying to get a win for his team.
This will be the Jets season on the line and if they do not win this game. I strongly believe their season will come to a painful ending.
Here are the three keys to the game for the Jets in order to win:
(1) The Jets rushing defense has to shutdown Reggie Bush if they want to keep the Dolphins offense off the field and put them on the sidelines for the majority of the football game.
(2) OC Tony Sparano cannot be conservative like he was last week and don't run the football a lot if they are in a close game in the 4th quarter. Yes, they should run the football down the Dolphins throats, but they need Mark Sanchexz the most when it is a close game in the 2nd half.
(3) The pass rush must rattle rookie QB Ryan Tannehill who has been good so far this season, but he's not that good. If they can confuse him at times with a very good defensive scheme. They will crush the Dolphins.
Doubtful: LB Bart Scott (Toe), DT Kenrick Ellis (Knee), RB Bilal Powell (Shoulder).
Questionable: TE Jeff Cumberland (Wrist), C Nick Mangold (Ankle), RB Joe McKnight (Ankle), DT Sione Pouha (Back), S Eric Smith (Knee).
Out: CB Richard Marshall (Back).
Final score is Jets 21, Dolphins 17

TALK THE TALK
New York Jets safety LaRon Landry will not apologize or change the way he plays. He hopes his hit on Reggie Bush was a statement.
As if the Miami Dolphins didn’t have enough reasons to want to beat the tar out of the Jets this Sunday. The Dolphins have been focused all week, preparing for their huge AFC East game against the hate, freaking Jets. Emotions were expected to be high, considering the last time the Dolphins played the Jets, Reggie Bush was knocked out of the game. Bush was injured by taking...
Next up in a week filled with trash talk: Antonio Cromartie.
The New York Jets cornerback says Friday that comments by the Miami Dolphins' Reggie Bush about it being karma that Darrelle Revis is out for the season were ''unprofessional'' and don't show ''any kind of sportsmanship at all.''
Cromartie nearly let out an obscenity when he was...
The Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets will open up some old wounds on Sunday.
The AFC East rivals really do hate each other albeit the Jets vs. the New England Patriots always steals each year’s headlines in that regard.
The bad blood extends deep enough that Dolphins running back Reggie Bush needs to watch his back according to several Jets.

The trash talking has begun in advance of Sunday’s match up between the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins. When the two teams met earlier this season, the result was a Jets win but the loss of key defensive player, CB Darrelle Revis for the season. Dolphins RB Reggie Bush also suffered an [...]
The New York Jets have already guaranteed victory over the Miami Dolphins, which is typical, considering no other team enters match-ups guaranteeing the win more than the Jets.
The last time the Dolphins met the Jets, in Week 3, Reggie Bush had to leave the game with a knee injury and Derrelle Revis’ season ended with a torn ACL. The Jets squeezed out a win in overtime (but...
Jets defensive coordinator Mike Pettine's job just got a little bit harder, and it's all because a couple of guys couldn't keep their mouths shut.
The back and forth between the Jets and Dolphins running back Reggie Bush continued this week with the teams squaring off in the Meadowlands on Sunday. But while we'll have to wait and see what unfolds...
Joe Caporoso - LaRon Landry and the Jets Run D versus Reggie “Hot Sauce” Bush - There has been plenty of chirping from Reggie Bush about the New York Jets and LaRon Landry didn’t back down reminding that Bush “will remember his hit from week 3, every time he sees him on the field.” Should be a scrappy one on Sunday, no? In all seriousness, if the Jets slow down Reggie...
The Miami Dolphins returned to the practice field yesterday and continued to prepare for their big game against the Jets on Sunday. The Dolphins seem extremely motivated to beat the Jets this weekend and tensions will be high on Sunday, considering LaRoid Landry’s comments yesterday. Speaking of Landry, the guy who looks like the poster child for steroid abuse, he should worry...
A pair of injuries to star players marred the last meeting between the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins.
It's been five weeks, but the emotions from that matchup are still lingering.
With a war of words continuing, the Jets will try to sweep the season series from the Dolphins for the first time in five years Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
Nick Folk's 33-yard field goal in...
The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets do not like each other. Yesterday, we heard from S LaRoid Landry and LB Aaron Maybin. Landry focused his trash talking on Reggie Bush mostly, saying that Reggie will run differently for the Dolphins on Sunday because he remembers the hit that injured his knee back in September. Landry went on to say that even if he’s penalized, it won’t...
