The New York Jets will reportedly try to shop Tim Tebow during this week’s 2013 NFL Scouting Combine, according to Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com. March 12 is the first day that the team can trade Tebow, so the Jets may choose to keep him until then in hopes of getting something in return.
Otherwise, Gang Green would just release him like they did earlier this week with Bart Scott, Calvin Pace and three others.
The Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars were among a small handful of teams that were interested in taking a chance on Tebow and picking him up in a trade with the Denver Broncos last year.
Gang Green ultimately gave up a fourth round pick and a sixth-rounder for Tebow, along with a seventh round pick last March before barely using him on the field in 2012.
