I don't know why or when "reporter getting pummeled in the middle of a hurricane" became a thing, but Jim Cantore is the Joe Montana of the craft. As he stands in the streets of New Orleans with Hurricane Isaac coming through, Cantore takes a moment to drop to one knee and say, "for whatever it's worth, I hope I'm making Tebow proud." Yes Jim, yes you are.
For whatever it's worth, Cantore has scored as many preseason touchdowns as Tim Tebow, Mark Sanchez, and the entire Jets offense in 2012.

The New York Jets are 0-3 in preseason action and, in case you haven’t heard, have yet to score a touchdown. The full-scale circus that has followed the Jets this year will be toned down a bit by the fact that Tim Tebow will not be playing in Thursday night’s game. I see the sadness on your face even as I write...
Tim Tebow's intangibles won't be found in the box score. Find out why New York's Wildcat quarterback isn't concerned about his low completion percentage, but intent on leading the Jets into the end zone.
Joe was on ESPN's "First Take" to promote the new Madden 13 game when the round table discussion inevitably came around to co-host Skip Bayless asking the four-time Super Bowl winner which rookie he would pick to have more long-term success as an NFL quarterback — Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III.
Montana tried to dodge the question before a nagging Bayless said...
There is never a dull moment with the New York Jets, right? I know, you are so over the Jets with all their coverage from ESPN. Probably tired of us bringing them up as well, right? Tough. The latest news about the team that has yet to score a touchdown in the preseason is that [...]
While most fans and media believe that Michael Jordan was the greatest NBA player of all time, there is far less consensus about who is the best quarterback of all time. Some say Johnny Unitas, others point to Joe Montana, both John Elway and Peyton Manning are in the discussion, and many believe Tom Brady is up there.
Montana gets the nod in many debates because he went 4-0 in...
A while ago, Joe Namath said that the Jets were more interested in making headlines than winning football games. As if there needed to be any more proof as to why Namath was right… enter team owner Woody Johnson. Johnson reportedly told the New York Daily News that you can “never have enough Tebow”.
Johnson was asked if he felt like the Jets preseason offensive struggles would...
The New York Jets have gotten plenty of attention this preseason, but none of it has been particularly positive. Everybody has heard about the team’s struggles to reach the endzone in their first three fake games, which came off the heels of an ESPN love fest at training camp in Cortland that could have either distracted the team or bloated their heads.
Fortunately, it looks like...
Mark Sanchez or Tim Tebow? How about Greg McElroy.
McElroy became the first quarterback to lead the New York Jets into the end zone this preseason in a 28-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night.
Sanchez, Tebow and most of the Jets starters didn't play in this battle between backups and guys fighting for roster spots.
Michael Vick and all of Philadelphia's...
Daily Caller reports: On Thursday night, the Republican convention schedule has a mystery hole just before Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Mitt Romney’s speeches. The space is scheduled for “remarks” but simply lists “To be Announced” where the name of the speaker should be.
Among the “top 5” possibilities the article lists to fill the spot: Colin Powell, Nancy Regan...
