Down and Distance:
In an emotional win for his Indianapolis Colts, owner Jim Irsay said it was something he’s never experienced before. His team rallied late to defeat the powerhouse Green Bay Packers with a rookie quarterback, a reliable veteran wide receiver and heavy hearts for their head coach, Chuck Pagano who was diagnosed with a treatable form of Leukemia.

“In my 40 years in this business, I’ve never been prouder of a team and how they battled back,” Irsay said via NFL.com. “I’ve been in a lot of winning locker rooms, Super Bowl locker rooms, but I’ve never had an experience like this. People talk about money, what the team is worth, those kinds of things, but this was priceless. Absolutely priceless. We walked in, he (Pagano) got up, we all embraced and shed some tears and Chuck said, ‘You know I don’t feel so sick right now.’”
The win was a story for the ages yesterday, a great story. Pagano sat in the hospital and watched the monster he helped build.
There was a few clutch plays from QB Andrew Luck and WR Reggie Wayne to set up the win. They deserved a game ball – but this game was more than a game, it was a coming-together party for a team that is CHUCKSTRONG. A game ball was indeed to be given out, but not to a player. This game ball went to Coach Pagano as he sat in his hospital room, delivered by Jim Irsay.

“You know, you see things in the movie, but oftentimes, life isn’t as beautiful as they make it out to be,” Irsay said. “But this went way past that. This was the stuff of movies. This was beautiful. That’s as excited and animated as I’ve seen Chuck. I’ll never forget the look on his face when we walked in with the game ball. We’ll all treasure this moment forever.”
This was one for the ages, and what a memory it will be for the guys that came together as a team for one cause – to be CHUCKSTRONG.

So, first up, Conrad Brunner of 1070 The Fan has a nice wrap-up of the game and touches on how truly important it was to Reggie Wayne:
Well, how about one more recap; this one from another local reporter.

This is the type of game that will live on in the memories of Colts fans everywhere. With it being the first weekend of breast cancer awareness month in the NFL, almost all the players and coaches were wearing splashes of pink throughout their uniforms, but it was a single pair of orange gloves that seemed to show up everywhere on the field. Orange is the official color of leukemia...

The Colts week 5 game was supposed to be about their Head Coach. It was supposed to be about the emotions of the sad, unexpected, depressing situation. It was supposed to be about the Green Bay Packers showing the world they're still the best team in the NFL.
Instead, as the Colts (2-2) fought back from a 21-3 halftime deficit to win 30-27, we found that today was all about...
After Sunday's 212-yard effort, Colts wideout Reggie Wayne leads the NFL in receiving yards-per-game (126.5).Fantasy Spin:Apparently rumors of Wayne's "fantasy death" were greatly exaggerated. All he needed was a quarterback who could get him the ball. With rookie Andrew Luck under center Wayne should certainly produce his eighth 1,000-yard receiving season in the...
The Indianapolis Colts played the Green Bay Packers, if you got to see it you’re lucky as FOX here in Indiana did not have the Colts’ game on television but instead was playing Soccer.
Barclays Premier League was being aired instead of football on a Sunday. I have nothing against Soccer, but it just seems like a strange call to me, what do you think?
INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts wanted to send a message to ailing coach Chuck Pagano, and they delivered one that will never be forgotten. Using a 27-point second half, the Colts came from 18 points down to beat the Green Bay Packers 30-27 on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. Trailing 27-22, Colts rookie quarterback Andrew Luck engineered an 80-yard drive in the final 4:30...
