There is no reason to not like Jim Irsay. Even if he has his moments of creepiness. The Indianapolis Colts owner made good on his promise to award someone $8500 if they predicted the correct score for the AFC Title game. Here is the original tweet he sent out prior to the game Again,$8500 for winner of Pats/Rave,exact score with 1 point cushion for both teams for final score/1 guess only by 630pm EST/Abby’s hatpick — Jim Irsay (@JimIrsay) January 20, 2013 The winner of the contest received a FedEx package with a letter enclosed from Irsay: Dear Jason, Congratulations again on winning a Twitter Contest! Enclosed you will find your prize which consists of $8,500.00. Please continue to follow me on Twitter and thank you for your continued support. Go Colts! Sincerely, Jim Irsay Owner/CEO The winner, Jason, also included a photo of the letter along with his straight cash, homey. H/T Deadspin

  • Thanks, Jim. First you beat the system on the drug charges...then WE buy you a stadium for YOUR team...really called "the House that Peyton built"...and you won't put a dime toward paying back the people of Indianapolis. I'm glad this guy won, don't get me wrong...but you OWE more to us. Pay for your own damned stadium or take the Colts to another town like you threatened. I'd prefer to have my tax money back since I can't even afford a seat to a game!
  • Its not Irsay's fault that you cant afford a ticket! How much money did that Super bowl bring into the city of indianapolis??? If you dont like it move to mexico and let the cartel dictate your life buddy! I BLEED BLUE!!!
  • Just the type of reply I'd expect. I talk taxes and supporting a drug addict and you tell ME to move to MX? Great leap of logic there. I stand by my complaint without blindly following like a sheep. I'm thrilled the Super Bowl brought $$ to our city...but still don't support you and I paying for it while Jimbo bathes in his riches.
Try to stay focused on my original complaint instead of just foaming at the mouth. I'm not trashing the Colts...just their owner and his holding our city hostage until WE paid for HIS stadium. Irsay is not alone...the Viking owners are playing this same "rob the taxpayer" game.
    Get over yourself.
