New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham underwent wrist surgery this month and immediately started rehab and says ”everything’s going well” as he continues to recover. Graham was asked if he’s spoken to Saints head coach Sean Payton now that he’s been reinstated. “I haven’t talked to him yet, I was going to go by his office today, been very busy as you can see,” Graham said. “I’m just glad to have him back. He’s our leader. I’m just ready to really sit down and speak with him and see what he did with his time off.”   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _C

Drew Brees blasts Gregg Williams

Saints quarterback Drew Brees did not hold back one bit when hammering former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, saying, "He sounds like a madman."

Saints Nation: A Look at the 2013 Saints' Free Agents

The last two years have been brutal for the standpoint of high profile Saints players in the final year of their contract. The Saints have been able to retain some key parts (Brees, Colston etc) while losing other key players (Goodwin, Nicks, Meachem, Porter to name a few). This year's offseason is not quite as brutal from that standpoint and as fans we can go into it with a...

Brees wants to bury bounty probe, help New Orleans

Drew Brees says the Saints are ready to put the bounty scandal ''to bed,'' be gracious Super Bowl hosts and look forward to next season. Brees has been an ambassador for New Orleans since he arrived in 2006, and is maintaining that role with a busy schedule this week as the Big Easy prepares to host its first Super Bowl in more than a decade on Sunday. The Saints...

Let bygones be bygones: Saints, Brees ready to move on

Theodore Roosevelt said “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” Drew Brees and the New Orléans Saints did just that in 2012. All the pieces weren’t in place, and after stumbling out the gate, a late-season push would shoot the Saints back up the rankings leaving them with a glimpse of respect. Now that head coach Sean Payton is back, it’s time to let bygones...

Unsurprisingly, Roger Goodell Is Not Welcome At A Handful Of New Orleans Restaurants

With Super Bowl week in full swing, a handful of New Orleans restaurants have made slight modifications to their “No shirt, No shoes, No Service” policies by adding “Roger Goodell” to the list of unwelcome items. The NFL commissioner is loathed more in the Big Easy than perhaps any other NFL city, almost entirely due to his handling (and subsequent fumble) of the Bountygate...

Report: Joe Vitt: "Gregg Williams Wanted Players To Take Out Opposing Coaches"

Gregg Williams ((nola.com)) Really? Gregg Williams did what? According to a report in Wednesday's New Orleans Times-Picayune, New Orleans Saints Assistant Coach Joe Vitt made some strong allegations against former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, who is accused of running a bounty program. Among the nuggets the paper found after obtaining Vitt's testimony...

Saints Nation: Pro Football Focus Scores For Saints Players in 2012 (Offense)

As you know sickeningly well by now I'm a big fan of Pro Football Focus and the grading that they do. It offers a unique look into how the players stack up against each other across the league. In this first segment of two we'll look at how the offense did this year. In case you are curious about my same write up last season, since I do this every year, you can check it out...

Joe Vitt: Gregg Williams offered rewards to players for taking out opposing coaches’ knees

Just when you thought the allegations from the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal could not get any crazier, we get a further glimpse into just how carried away former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams may have gotten. On Monday, The Times-Picayune obtained a copy of assistant coach Joe Vitt’s Dec. 3 bounty appeals hearing testimony in front of NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue...

Goodell: Some don't recognize bounties must end

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says his biggest regret about the New Orleans Saints' bounty scandal is that he can't get everyone to recognize bounties need to be eliminated from the game. Goodell said he hasn't been able to make the point clearly enough with the players' union and others that the league will not tolerate pay for hard hits. He said the league, coaches...

Stars give back to New Orleans

Some athletes and celebrities headed to New Orleans for Super Bowl weekend are picking up hammers and packaging food for the homeless in the big game's host city. The downtown area where most Super Bowl festivities will take place has arguably never looked better, with a renovated Superdome and resurfaced streets and sidewalks. But a closer look reveals homelessness, crime and...
