He’s my defensive player of the year T… This year’s NFL breakout star was most definitely J.J. Watt. The Houston Texans defensive star terrorized NFL offenses with his deadly combination of speed and swat-ability. JJ was recently quoted saying: “I’m just trying to find the right girl. I’ll definitely settle down and start a family. That’s who I am. I’m a Midwestern kid, find the right girl, start a family,” he said — Well, I think he’s found that girl. Our source tells us JJ is dating U.S. Women’s National Team forward Sydney Leroux. We were tipped off that Sydney was at last weekend’s wild card game with teammate Jenny Johnson and J.J. Watt’s brother. Our source close to JJ tells us they have been dating for a few months and are currently trying to keep things under wraps. Congrats to JJ on an unbelievable year. Texans TE Garrett Graham Diagnosed With A Concussion, Limited In Practice

Texans tight end Garrett Graham was limited in practice on Wednesday after suffering a concussion on Saturday against the Cincinnati Bengals. He could play Sunday in the Divisional Round at New England if he passes league concussion testing protocols. The fact that he practiced on Wednesday is surely an encouraging sign for the Texans, who like to use Graham, tight end Owen Daniels...

F*ck Houston.

So today, this douchebag from Houston, came out with an anti-Shaughnessy column, which they picked up on at CSNNE. So, we are going to go through this column and see what I have to say to this idiot.Houston we have a problem . . .A NEEDING-TO-BUY-SUPER-BOWL-TICKETS PROBLEM!The 2012-13 Houston Texans have been waiting all season for this moment, and their master plan has finally fallen...

Arian Foster Using Critical Boston Globe Column as Twitter Avatar, Motivation Against Patriots (Photo)

Many NFL pundits aren’t giving the Texans much of a chance in their return trip to New England this weekend, not after stumbling to a 42-14 loss less than a month ago. Texans running back Arian Foster is soaking in all the doubt, though, and using it as motivation for his rematch with the Patriots. Foster, who is very active on social media, changed his Twitter avatar to a photo...

Arian Foster Responds To Boston Columnist Ripping “Terrible Texans”

After beating the Bengals 19-13 to open wildcard weekend for the second straight year, the Houston Texans (13-4) head into the divisional round as pretty heavy underdogs to the New England Patriots (12-4). Though head coach Bill Belichick is inevitably sending a message that the 42-14 win in Week 14 means nothing now, Dan Shaughnessy has a different outlook in his column in the...

Wilfork, Patriots prepping for Texans' cut blocking

Vote: Which Texans Player Should the Patriots Be Most Concerned About Stopping?

After a bye week off, the Patriots now know who their divisional round opponent is — and they should seem pretty familiar. It wasn’t all that lone ago (just under a month, in fact) that the Houston Texans traveled to Gillette Stadium for what was billed as a heavyweight matchup between two Super Bowl contenders. The end result didn’t nearly match the hype, as Tom Brady and...

Preview: Patriots vs. Texans

On Sunday, the Patriots will take on the Houston Texans in the AFC divisional round.  As we all know, the Patriots manhandled the Texans in week 14 by a score of 42-14 and seemed to be primed for another run deep into the postseason.  While the Pats are 9.5 point favorites at the moment, don’t expect this week to be another walk in the park. The Texans are coming off of an...

Texas Tussle: Dallas Cowboys or Houston Texans?

Growing up in San Antonio, I have been more-or-less conditioned into being a Cowboys fan. It wasn’t something I chose per say, it was something that was bestowed upon me. As great as that has been at times, recently I have found myself in situations like the one I faced the other day when a friend asked:“Why are you a Cowboys fan? The Texans are better and Houston is closer to...

Opening Lines: Divisional Round

The Patriots opened as 9.5-point favorites as they host the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round of the AFC playoffs. Let’s get past the obvious – the Pats made the Texans look like a JV squad a few weeks ago. That game happened. It’s over. The Pats don’t start out with a four-TD lead just because they won by that margin a month ago. And just because they stomped...

J.J. Watt Wears Craig Biggio Jersey to News Conference, Thinks Second Baseman Should Be in Hall of Fame (Photo)

J.J. Watt has only been in the Houston area for two years now, but apparently he’s a big Craig Biggio fan. The star defensive end wore a Biggio Houston Astros jersey to his news conference on Wednesday and said he believes the second baseman should be in the Baseball Hall of Fame, according to the Texans’ Twitter account. Biggio led the 2013 hall of fame class in voting, but...
