Houston Texans’ defensive end JJ Watt has had a defensive MVP caliber season, he led the NFL in sacks, the Texans won the AFC South, and they made their second straight trip to the playoffs. Even with all of those accomplishments his best move in 2012 was making Sydney Leroux his girlfriend. Leroux is a 20 year old Forward on the US Women’s National soccer team. She is one of the brightess star in the sport and one of the best looking women in sports. Best of luck to JJ and Sydney on their relationship, but if for some reason she was to become single the thirst would be at an all time high. More Pics…

J.J. Watt suffered a nasty cut to his finger (Photo)

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt suffered a nasty cut to his pinkie finger early on during yesterday’s Pro Bowl. “I didn’t even realize how bad it bled, but it bled pretty good. That’s football. It’s not fun if you’re not going to get bloody,” Watt said, per Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com. The good thing is that Watt was able to finish the game and will...

Texans’ J.J. Watt Injures Finger in Pro Bowl

Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt was one of the players to take the Pro Bowl a bit more seriously this season, and doing so cost him a cut pinky finger. The potential Defensive Player of the Year sliced open his finger early in the contest, causing it to bleed “pretty good,” Watt told Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com. "I didn’t even realize how bad it bled...

Warren Sapp on Matt Schaub: “He’s a big-game turd”

It’s been obvious that throughout his career so far, Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub has had a hard time playing well in big games.  He struggles on prime time nationally televised games and looked bad against the Patriots in the divisional round of the playoffs this year. According to Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post, former NFL defensive tackle Warren Sapp had some interesting...

J.J. Watt’s Girlfriend Shows up at Pro Bowl

I’m an AFC kind of girl T… Houston Texans star J.J. Watt did things a little differently yesterday, lining up at receiver in the NFL’s version of its All-Star game. JJ had a few fans in the stands to watch him try his hand at offense — Watt’s U.S. soccer star girlfriend Sydney Leroux was there to cheer on her man. She just happened to be in the neighborhood. Sounds like...

The Texans J.J. Watt Stood There With A Bloody Hand Telling Roger Goodell They Work Hard In The Pro Bowl.

Who said they don’t play hard in the pro bowl? Don’t tell J.J. Watt that, he stood on the sidelines with blood pouring out of his hand. It looked like he almost had a finger ripped off as he sent a clear message to the NFL Commissionaire telling him they work hard at the pro bowl. Watt seems to play hard no matter what game he is playing in, I’m sure Watt would have rather...

Was the 2012 Texans’ Offensive Line That Bad?

There has been plenty to say about the Houston Texans’ offensive line, especially the right side of the 2012 line. There has been plenty of blame to push around for the Texans lack of success but we decided to look a little deeper into the offensive line from this past season. We looked back to the 2009 season to do a good comparison of the Texans’ offensive lines for the past...

Vote: Who Is the Greatest Quarterback in Texans History?

David Carr: Carr was drafted No. 1 overall by the expansion Texans in 2002, but floundered in the NFL, leading the Texans to a 22-53 record in his five years starting with the team. Carr led the league in completion percentage, starting 16 games in 2006, but also threw just 11 touchdowns to 12 interceptions with 2,767 yards and 6.3 yards per attempt. Carr led the league in times...

Peyton Manning & Arian Foster Must Think Roger Goodell Is Nuts, As Goodell Threatens To End The Pro-Bowl.

Peyton Manning and Arian Foster two of the NFL’s elite think Roger Goodell is off his rocker thinking he can get a better product in the Pro Bowl. The Pro Bowl is a pick up game, teams send the best of the best to play together in one game to highlight the best players in the NFL. If Goodell wants a better product then why not move the game until after the Super Bowl? This way...

The average general ticket price for the 2013 season is $86.39, compared with $78.66 last season. Sydney Leroux Hot Chick of the Day (Pictures)

Today's hot chick is Sydney Leroux.  Sydney is a U.S. women's soccer player.  I guess I've been to focused on her teammates Hope Solo and Alex Morgan in the past to realize this chick was so hot.  Word came out today that Sydney might be dating Houston Texans star defensive lineman J.J. Watt.  That would be a match made in sporting heaven. That was all I needed to...

NFL Defensive Player of the Year: Who Should/Will Win?

Withe the regular season in the books and only one game left to play, I figured this would be a good time to discuss the major awards for the 2012 season and who should win them, as well as who will. I’m a defense guy, so I think I’ll kick off this series with the defensive player of the year. First, the candidates. Aldon Smith, OLB, San Francisco 49ers After a stellar season...

Stop the insanity, end the Pro Bowl in 2014

The NFL held it’s annual All-Star event yesterday, hopefully for the last time. The Pro Bowl has been under scrutiny since last year’s blowout, lackluster event. Last year, the AFC trounced the NFC 59-41 enroute to scoring 100 total points. This year the NFC returned the favor, whipping the AFC 62-35 for the third highest point total in the history of the game. Stop this madness...
