This Joe Horn New Orleans Saints jersey is an absolute gem. Aside from rocking one of the Billy Joe’s (Hobert or Tolliver) or Bobby Herbert this has to be near or top of the list for random Saints jersey that I’d be most impressed by. The story of how Joe Horn got to the NFL is pretty incredible. He also gets major creativity points for his pull out the cell phone touchdown celebration. Post NFL he is now working on his own line of BBQ sause aptly named “Joe Horn’s Bayou 87″ BBQ sauce.
Shout out to my boy Ken Schulman for this great find.

Wade Phillips Considers Drew Brees NFL's 'All-Time Best Passer,' Thinks 'the World of Him'
Maybe it was a slip of the tongue. Maybe Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips defines the term "passer" a little differently than most. Or maybe Phillips is just jealous of what Saints fans have down in New Orleans. Whatever the case may be, Phillips' confidence in Drew Brees goes beyond that of probably even the most loyal fan. "You're going against...
Sean Payton Finding Work During ‘Time Off’
Sean Payton gave a motivational talk to the University of North Texas’ football program on Thursday, and it was great. It was Payton’s first speech to a football team, since his own Saints but it looks like he hasn’t lot a step. Payton addressed everything from building a winning team in New Orleans to how he hates having to miss an entire season of coaching. Check out the...
New Orleans Saints: 3 Reasons To Move On From Bounty Scandal
The 2012 season has barely even started and it is already riddled with scandal. It seems the NFL can't go a year without putting at least one team in time-out so commissioner Rodger Goodell can feel like the daddy of the league and be the disciplinarian. This year's victim is the New Orleans Saints, having the hammer dropped on them for paying players extra money to make...
Can Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham repeat their 2011 performance?
Can Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham repeat their 2011 performance?
Rob Gronkowski
Rizzla: No, Rob Gronkowski is unlikely to repeat his outstanding performance this year. While I still think he has the highest TD upside of all tight ends his yardage will likely regress with new weapons for Tom Brady to throw to. I have him projected for 1,152 yards and 15 TD’s, still numbers that...
Saints' Kromer downplays his impending promotion
While Aaron Kromer says he has aspirations to be an NFL head coach, he says he doesn't see his six-game appointment as figurehead of the Saints' staff as an audition.
Kromer, who coaches the offensive line, calls himself ''a fill-in for a fill-in.'' He will temporarily take over for assistant head coach Joe Vitt, who will spend most of the season filling...
New Orleans Saints: Making History in 2012
Weathering the StormIt is no secret that New Orleans is a place known for partying and having fun, but in 2005 a gloom fell over the city in the form of a natural disaster.Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans on August 29, 2005, changing the city forever. We soon learned that even when left homeless, car-less, and jobless, the spirit of those native to the Big Easy couldn't be broken...
Saints name Kromer acting head coach
The Saints named offensive line coach Aaron Kromer acting head coach, making him the third member of the staff to wear the title in five months. Sean Payton was suspended for the 2012 season in March and assistant head coach Joe Vitt, the interim coach, will serve a six-game suspension for his connection to the bounty program the team allegedly ran from 2009 to 2011 under former...
Jonathan Vilma DOES NOT Want Roger Goodell To Eat
Background: NFL Owner, Roger Goodell, suspended Saints LB Jonathan Vilma for the entire season because of what Vilma says are ‘unsubstantiated claims’. Vilma is currently suing Goodell for defamation. So basically, there is a lot of bad blood between the two.
This poster is apparently being displayed in Brother Jimmy’s BBQ restaurant (in Miami) which is co-owned by Vilma.
Report: NFL did offer Jonathan Vilma a reduced suspension
AP
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, a source has told with him that the NFL didn’t offer Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma a reduced suspension of eight games instead of a full year. When this new’s originally broke, the league denied making any type of offer to Vilma.
“Our source, who is in position to know, says it happened. It’s still not clear whether...

Wigan get first away at Saints
Franco Di Santo's classy strike put Wigan on course for victory at Southampton today as the newly-promoted side paid for their inability to find a way past Ali Al-Habsi.
The Argentinian striker's second-half goal was followed up late on by an Arouna Kone effort as the Latics racked up their first points of the season at St Mary's.
Southampton started their first home...
Thank Gggod he’s gggone
Michael Silver has it right:
NEW ORLEANS – The day after he made the infamous speech that would provide a chilling context to the New Orleans Saints’ pay-for-injury scandal, Gregg Williams engaged in a conspicuous display of recklessness that some in the Crescent City still find even harder to forgive.
This is old ground, and I’m trying to watch my blood pressure, so I won’t...
My PPR Expert Draft: Picking From The 12 Spot
You won’t be sorry Juan…
Round By Round Picks 12 Man PPR League
1. Jimmy Graham
I took Graham this early for a couple of reasons. First, he is my top ranked TE and we start a TE weekly, which gives me an advantage at the position. He may not repeat his record 2011 season, but in a PPR league the guy will be a beast.
2. Marshawn Lynch
Speaking of beasts, I took Beast...
