New Orleans Saints interim head coach Aaron Kromer sounds optimistic that linebacker Jonathan Vilma will play on Sunday against the Bucs.
“Vilma looked good all week,” Kromer said, per ProFootballTalk.com. “We’ve got to get together as a staff still, make sure everyone is on the same page, and decide on game day.”
Even if Vilma plays this week, I don’t know how much it’s going to really help the Saints’ defense. Don’t forget that he’s going to have quite a bit of rust to shake off before he’s back to his old self.
