Jerry Jones made a radio appearance this morning on 105.3 FM The Fan this morning to discuss the upcoming Cowboys-Rams game, and most of what he said was characteristically obvious. Namely, Jones said that DeMarco Murray and Tashard Choice would split carries, which seems to be the team’s only real option with starter Felix Jones out with an ankle injury.
In less predictable news, Jones said that Montrae Holland, who spent the past three seasons with the team before being released after training camp and then re-signed this week, would likely get the start at left guard. The veteran Holland would replace starter Bill Nagy, who’s out for the season with a fractured ankle.
As for the running situation, Jones expanded on the thinking behind the seemingly obvious move.
