Josh Gordon must have gotten the message from the Browns on Sunday, because he performed out of this world during yesterday’s victory over the Vikings. Hours before kickoff, reports circulated that the Browns were interested in trading Gordon and Greg Little in attempts get rid of some of their negative baggage. Gordon went out and responded in his first game of the season by having 10 catches for 146 yards and a touchdown in the 31-27 victory in Minnesota. Gordon told the Akron Beacon Journal that he doesn’t want to be traded from the Browns, and loves the offense that fits him. “I always want to stay here and be a Cleveland Brown and help this organization as much as possible,” Gordon said, via the Akron Beacon Journal. “I love the offense, love Norv and coach. I’m learning a lot. From a wide receiver standpoint, it’s the best offense to be in, and I can’t complain at all. It’s a business. So [a trade] can happen at any given time. Whatever decision is made, that’s above me. You’v

Browns not done dealing yet?

Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski attempted to stop the buzz about the ongoing Josh Gordon trade rumors during his usual Monday press conference. After the second-year receiver’s outstanding performance in Sunday’s dramatic win over the Minnesota Vikings, the first-year head coach stood by his emerging star. Chudzinski said “we have no plans on doing that” when addressed about...

On Josh Gordon’s numbers and Joe Banner’s word

I don’t think we’re looking to do [conduct any more trades]. I don’t think that is the plan… I think we feel good about where we’re at and moving forward now.” — Cleveland Browns CEO Joe Banner, September 18, 2013 With Just under five minutes left in the first quarter of Sunday’s contest against the Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns wide receiver took roughly six...

Are the Cleveland Browns talking about trading Josh Gordon? Should they trade the pro-bowl quality receiver before he commits strike 3?

Did the Cleveland Browns show case the talents of their best receiver Josh Gordon yesterday to increase his worth in trade talks? Are the Browns really considering trade Gordon? The chatter coming out of Berea say yes. You have to wonder if the Browns have a trust issue after Gordon violated the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Gordon is down to his last strike,if he is found to be...

Josh Gordon led the league in targets this week and that trend could continue (Week 3 touches and targets)

The final numbers tell one part of the story, but fantasy football is a game of volume. When predicting performance touches and targets on a weekly basis play as big a role as the name on the back of the jersey. With that in mind let’s take a look back at workloads from this past weekend and start thinking forward to who may find themselves in a more favorable situation in Week...

NFL Rumors: Detroit Lions talking to Cleveland Browns about Josh Gordon?

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon came off his league imposed two-game suspension in a strong fashion. Gordon was targeted 19 times while hauling in 10 receptions for 146 yards and a score. Prior to the Browns playing on Sunday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Cleveland browns were fielding offers for Gordon and fellow receiver Greg Little. Although Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski...

NFL Rumors: New England Patriots to trade for Browns WR Josh Gordon?

It seems as if the Cleveland Browns have decided that they will go ahead and start a full on fire sale of the the team after just two weeks into the regular season. The Browns rocked the NFL world last week after trading former first-round running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts now have two of the first three players selected in the first round of the...

Browns Have Offer On The Table for WR Josh Gordon

Its pretty clear that the Cleveland Browns have no intention of contending this season and are in full Tank for Teddy mode. According to Adam Schefter, the Browns already have offers on the table for talented yet troubled WR Josh Gordon: Schefter made it clear the Browns won’t trade Gordon unless a team meets their asking price, but they already have at least one offer on the...

Browns’ Josh Gordon wants to stay in Cleveland

I took a brown bag beating by taking the Vikings -7 on Sunday.  With running back Trent Richardson gone and reports, rumors, gossip and lies that the Cleveland Browns wanted to trade wide receiver Josh Gordon swirling in the fall breeze, I thought the Vikings would take the Browns to the ice shed, done deal.  I was wrong and after the Browns’ defeat of Minnesota, Gordon made...

Report: Browns ‘Fielding Offers’ for Wide Receivers Josh Gordon, Greg Little

It appears the Browns are ready to clear house on offense. Cleveland already traded away last year’s No. 3 overall pick, running back Trent Richardson. Now, the team is fielding offers for wide receivers Josh Gordon and Greg Little, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. One team has made a “quality offer” for Gordon, Schefter continued. Gordon is likely the more attractive of...

Should the Patriots trade for Josh Gordon?

At about 8 am Sunday morning, ESPN's Adam Schefter made waves with the following tweet: Cleveland fielding offers for and open to trading WRs Josh Gordon and Greg Little. At least one team has made a quality offer for Gordon. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 22, 2013 This news led many a Pats fan to wonder what it might take to get the talented-but-troubled receiver...

Browns Reportedly Have WR's Gordon & Little on Trade Block, Want to Acquire Ben Tate

I thought we could finally get back to focusing on a football game today but it doesn't look like that will be the case. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter this morning the Cleveland Browns have WR Greg Little and WR Josh Gordon on the trade block and would love to add RB Ben Tate. It's hard to say what a "quality" offer for Gordon would be. A second-round pick...

Report: Browns could make multiple trades

We mentioned yesterday that the Browns are looking to trade both Josh Gordon and Greg Little. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter,  it looks like the Browns could end up making “multiple moves” prior to the NFL’s week six trade deadline. With a new front offive and coaching staff,  Cleveland is clearly not married to any of their current players.  They’re looking to build...

Ridiculous Cleveland Browns fans now upset about winning

The Cleveland Browns got a great win over the Vikings today, highlighted by the return of Josh Gordon and a game winning drive led by new quarterback Brian Hoyer. You would think after the interesting week they've had, with the trade of Trent Richardson, Browns' fans would be thrilled about the win. Apparently not. The same fans who were outraged over the trade of Richardson are...

Week 4 Waiver Wire

Who’s Hot: Josh Gordon, WR, Cleveland Browns – Coming back off of a suspension, Gordon lit up Minnesota’s secondary.  10 receptions for 146 yards and a TD. He also had a rush for 22 yards. He is one of the few offensive weapons Cleveland has left. Jason Snelling, RB, Atlanta Falcons – With Steven Jackson out in week 3, Snelling split carries with Jacquizz Rodgers…as I...

Cleveland Browns Game Three: Winners and Losers

Who caught your eye? Did someone stand out? Who blew it? That’s what were interested in this morning. Winners and losers. What do we have here? A win? Four touchdowns in one game? Pace yourselves there Cleveland, don’t want to score all your points in one week. WINNER: Rush defense. I have to start there because above everything else, this might have been the most impressive...
