According to ProFootballWeekly.com, it looks like rookie wide receiver Josh Gordon will be the Cleveland Browns’ top deep threat going forward this season.“The way we hear it, don’t be surprised if Browns rookie WR Josh Gordon is the club’s clear-cut top downfield threat going forward. Gordon is a big, athletic target who can stretch the field. When the Browns are looking to take big-play shots, Gordon will be an obvious option,” wrote PFW.Even though Gordon is still raw and has plenty of room to grow, he made a couple of nice plays against the Giants last week. He could turn into Brandon Weeden’s top target.

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden is already the oldest rookie in the NFL at the ripe old age of 29, but, according to the Cleveland Browns, Weeden is actually 129 years old. Not only is that old for a football player, but that is old for anybody.

Thin at wide receiver because of injuries, the Browns have signed rookie Josh Cooper from the practice squad.

Birthday boy Brandon Weeden had a very nice Sunday, tossing two touchdowns in an upset win over the Bengals -- Cleveland's first this season -- before blowing out his candles.
All 129 of them, apparently.
As one Deadspin reader pointed out, the Browns' stadium program included an egregious typo, listing Weeden as 129 years old.
