We’re talking bout practice Juan…
Julio Jones left the game against the Saints last week, only to return and grab a nice little 52 yard bomb. Now, he has missed practice all week and will be a gametime decision according to Mike Smith.
Smith: “These guys are so close and moving in the right direction that we’ll make a determination as late as we possibly can,” Smith said. “We can do it as late as we possibly can. They are working to get back. We are hoping that they’ll continue to progress tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday morning.”
They could be pulling a Calvin Johnson here and just letting him rest. I know I want him in this matchup and he he plays, he’s in your lineup.

It’s been a rough year in New Orleans. Just short of canceling Mardi Gras, the Saints are the big show in the Big Easy, but since the bounty scandal, its been tough sledding.
The loss of head coach Sean Payton for the year and losing Vitt for 8 games, seemed to really throw off a team usually in sync on offense and timely on defense.
However, the offense seemed to have gained...
The Saints seem to have things together, is it too late to make a playoff push?
After a rough Week 10, I'm sitting at 92-54-1. Who wants to keep track of a tie.
Let's see if I can turn this around this week.
Arizona at Atlanta - The Cards need to get some production from the QB position if they want any chance to make playoff this season.
Reports out of the New Orleans market are painting a picture that free agent head coach Sean Payton will weigh his options prior to firmly committing to a return to the Saints.

The New Orleans Saints offered up head coach Sean Payton a contract extension recently but the NFL league office decided to void the extension, making Payton a free agent head coach at the conclusion of the regular season. When the news broke of Payton’s impending free agency, several pundits speculated that he might jump to the Dallas Cowboys.

According to Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Saints running back Darren Sproles returned to practice today after undergoing surgery on his hand just a few weeks ago.
#Saints RB Darren Sproles returned to practice today. Listed as limited but Coach Joe Vitt said he was full-go in shells and looked good.

As the week goes...
New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles was back at
practice yesterday after being sidelined for the past several weeks due to a
hand injury. The speedy back was full-go and it looks like he’ll be ready to
play this weekend when the Saints take on the Oakland Raiders.
Sproles underwent surgery on his broken left hand in the
beginning of Nov. While the recovery time was...
Chris Ivory has played so well the last two weeks there's almost no way the Saints can go back to shelving him on the inactive list again. If nothing else, he's secured his spot in the rotation as a situational runner for the Saints. But why did it take so long for the Saints to plug him in there, especially when Mark Ingram had performed so poorly, and why are the Saints...
So it seems that as soon as I give my vote of confidence to a certain player, they have a knack for underperforming.
Last week’s article featured a picture of Buccaneers running back Doug Martin. He followed up his monster week 9 with a pedestrian week 10, rushing for just 68 yards. Martin did have 51 receiving yards, but failed to score for the first time since week 6.
The New Orleans Saints listed running Darren Sproles as questionable for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders. Sproles has missed the past two weeks after undergoing surgery on a hand that was injured in a loss to Denver in week eight. Interim coach Joe Vitt said Friday that Sproles experienced some swelling in the hand. If Sproles plays Sunday, Saints offensive coordinator...
According to Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Sean Payton isn’t expected to re-sign with the Saints right away. He’ll continue to keep his options open and right now. The only real option aside from going back to New Orleans, would be to sign with the Cowboys since his kids live in Dallas and he has a great relationship with Jerry Jones.

Last week: 20 (+2)
They’re the least likely of the three 2011 playoff teams who are currently 4-5 to go 1-6 and be this year’s team that goes from the playoffs to 5 wins or fewer, but I guess we can’t rule them out. They probably won’t be that team, however. That being said, they’re overrated. Yes, they knocked off Atlanta, but Dallas, Carolina, Washington,...
Saints head coach Sean Payton had his contract voided by the NFL two weeks ago. Since then, there has been plenty of speculation on where he might land. Places like Cleveland, Philadelphia, San Diego and Dallas have been brought up repeatedly.
Since the news broke, I’ve said that I don’t think he goes anywhere but New Orleans and that they’d work out an extension that the league...

Take a deep breath in and exhale before the next sentence. Ok, here it goes. There are only four weeks left in the fantasy regular season. You can do one of two things: do nothing and sit there dazed and confused in mid-December, or go into Drew Brees mode right now. I have thus...
