Only aficionados of the Transformers can truly appreciate the mini-controversy started Wednesday by Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman. The Seahawks are preparing for a Sunday game against the Detroit Lions and star wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who is nicknamed "Megatron." Megatron is the head Transformers villain. Tweaking his upcoming foe, Sherman changed his name on his official Twitter page (@RSherman_25) to "Optimus Prime," the name of Megatron's sci-fi enemy. No big deal, right? Johnson isn't viewing it that way. "I can use it, definitely use it as motivation," Johnson told the Detroit Free Press. "No doubt about it." Lions center Dominic Raiola added, "I think for a guy like (Johnson), you'd wake him up (by challenging him). You'd wake a monster up. ... "(Sherman is) a good player, but I don't know. He's still young. I don't know, whatever. That's how they are. That's how he is on the field. Who knows? Whatever." Sherman professes to be unconcerned about facing Johnson, who has 38 catches for 592 yards and one touchdown this season. "I don't care who's out there," he said, according to the Seattle Times. "It's the league, boy, they're going to have a good receiver out there every week -- where it's Fitz (Larry Fitzgerald), Steve Smith, you've got Brandon Lloyd. No different."
