After going 8-8 last season a lot of people are wondering how good the Cowboys are and that is a great questions. When you look at the season as a whole the Cowboys lost five games when they entered the fourth quarter with a lead. The last game of the season was played with a beat up offensive line and Romo with a badly bruised hand with a win and get in vs. the Giants. Also dont forget Sammy Morris was getting playing time at running back. At the start of the off-season everyone realized that the Cowboys need help in the secondary and offensive line. Jerry Jones went out and got Brandon Carr and drafted Morris Claiborne to fix that problem. To help Tony Romo out the Cowboys locked in Nate Livings who has started 32 games for the Bengals the last two season and Mackenzy Bernadeau who is young and talented. The Cowboys did not just change personal they also changed coaches bringing in Bill Callahan and Jerome Henderson to coach. Even with all of the talent coming in to those positions there are still a few questions that need to be answered. First is Brodney Pool the Cowboys newest safety. If there is one weakness in the secondary it is Pool and if he can play make plays. The seconded is Tyron Smith moving to left tackle. After a great rookie season the 20 year old will be protecting Tony Romo blind side and will have a lot of pressure on him. Even with the questions the Cowboys have turned there biggest weakness into a strength this off season. The one loss this season is Laurant Robinson at wide receiver. Last season Robinson had 11 touchdowns and some wonder how the Cowboys could let him go. The answer is pretty easy when you have Jason Witten, Miles Austin and Dez Bryant on the field the last guy better get open. Those 11 touchdowns are great but most of them came in one on one coverage because all the stars were doubled team. The Cowboys can replace Robinson and he will be a non factor in Jacksonville. The point is last year the Cowboys lost five games when they were leading in the fourth quarter and still had a win and get in game vs. the Giants. The only difference between last years team and this years will be Brandon Carr, Morris Claybrone, DeMarco Murry, Bruce Carter and a whole new offensive line. That being said how good are the Cowboys?.......Very Good
