Two DUIs before his first reception is probably not exactly how the Jacksonville Jaguars would have preferred their first-round draft pick, Justin Blackmon, to start his professional career.
The 22-year-old, No. 5 overall pick in last April’s Draft, was arrested for aggravated DUI in Stillwater, Oklahoma early Sunday morning.
The Payne County Sheriff, Sgt. Brandon Ingham, told ESPN.com Blackmon was arrested at 3 a.m. for aggravated DUI and was jailed with a bond of $1,000.
According to state law, aggravated DUI occurs when a driver carries a blood alcohol level of more than .15 – the legal limit to define a drunk driver is only .08.
This is Blackmon’s second DUI arrest after a 2010 incident saw him arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated after being pulled over for speeding in Dallas, Texas.
