The Jacksonville Jaguars aren’t an offensive juggernaut. In fact, they rank dead last in the NFL in total offense.
In order to help Blaine Gabbert and Maurice Jones-Drew they traded up to the fifth pick in the NFL draft to select Justin Blackmon and so far the jury is still out.
Reports by Pro Football Talk surfaced last week that “He was still learning to be an NFL receiver.”
While that is expected of a rookie, by now we expected more than 14 receptions for only 126 yards and no touchdowns. Especially when Cecil Shorts has 400 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
Blackmon has been targeted 37 times by either Gabbert or Chad Henne.
