Kansas City Chiefs 2011 Draft Options

Here are a few options to consider if you are the Kansas City Chiefs picking in round 1. I think Mike Pouncey is an option if he falls to pick 21 because the Chiefs will move right guard Ryan Lilja to left guard plus with Casey Wiegman and Brian Waters considering retirement Mike Pouncey can be an option that the Chiefs plug in at center or right guard.  I doubt this scenario occurs though because Pouncey will be targeted by New England and the New York Giants. Another option on the offensive line is getting an offensive tackle.  Nate Soldier, Anthony Costanzo, and Gabe Carimi are all options if Kansas City wants to pursue an offensive tackle. If the Chiefs want a nose tackle, they can take a guy like Phil Taylor the Baylor nose tackle.  Kansas City needs a big man up front. The other option is taking a 3-4 left outside linebacker like Akeem Ayers or Ryan Kerrigan.
