Pressure is building for Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli. For the second year in a row the Chiefs get spanked in there home opener against the Atlanta Falcons.Sure the defense had injuries and suspensions. Granted having linebacker Tamba Hali and cornerback Brandon Flowers would have helped.Sure quarterback Matt Cassel played well for one half of football. But by the end of the game the Falcons had put up 41 points. In last year’s opener the Bills put up 41 points.Sure the seats were empty by the end of the 3rd quarter.Kansas City fans are beginning to reach a boiling point. This isn’t New York or Philly, the fans have patience. However after dealing with a lousy MLB team all summer, by September the Chiefs always become the beacon of hope.Criticisms have been pointed at the fact the Chiefs are $28 million under the salary cap. Fans have recently attacked Clark Hunt’s wallet and his inability to open it on Twitter.Surprisingly the Chiefs' organization fired back, calling the fan...

Hot Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders. Today we continue on with the AFC West and get to enjoy the ladies of Kansas City. I figured it would be tough to keep up with the Broncos girls from yesterday and I was right. The Chiefs girls are hot, but just not close to Denver. Check them out below and judge for yourself.
When Brandon Flowers went down at training camp with what looked at the time to be a serious injury, Chiefs fans every where held their breath, hoping against hope that he’d simply miss a few practices, perhaps a pre-season game, and then come back ready to play in week one.
Then after the first game for Kansas City came and went last Sunday against Atlanta, with no Flowers on...
KANSAS CITY, Mo. A bizarre and tragic Friday unfolded, at least peripherally, for Kansas City's two major sports franchises.
First, shortly after 2 p.m. and before the Royals were to play host to the Angels at Kauffman Stadium, a gunman shot a female parking lot attendant in parking lot A, east of the stadium. The gunman then returned to his car and shot and killed himself...
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A reflective and remorseful Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali spoke to the media for the first time Wednesday since he was suspended for one game for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
Hali began to answer the opening question from a reporter about the Chiefs' loss to Atlanta, then stopped in mid-sentence to make a statement.
"I want to apologize...
With his sixth season in the NFL now underway, Dwayne Bowe has clearly established himself as one of the top players in the league at his position, topping 70 receptions every year, aside from 2009. A former standout at LSU, Bowe is playing out the remainder of this year on his franchise tag tender and will undoubtedly command a significant amount of money on the open market if...
According to Adam Caplan of TheSidelineView.com, Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Brandon Flowers fully practiced today. This could be a sign that he’s ready to go.
Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers had a full practice today, which could finally be a sign that he’ll be able to play vs. Buffalo on Sunday.

(Eds: Updates. With AP Photos.) By DAVE SKRETTA AP Sports Writer Tamba Hali woke up Sunday morning, went for a walk and then settled in to watch the Kansas City Chiefs on television.
He much prefers his regular routine.
The Pro Bowl linebacker was back on the practice field Wednesday after serving a one-week suspension for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. Hali...
It is week 2 and time to scout the enemy. We are joined by Joel Thorman from Arrowhead Pride to discuss Bills/Chiefs. How do they feel about Matt Cassel? How has Jaamal Charles looked? How should the Bills attack the Chiefs' defense? All that and more. Enjoy.
1) If you were the Bills offensive and defensive coordinator, how would you attack the Chiefs? Depends if...
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Eric Berry never saw the hit coming until it was too late.
The Chiefs' Pro Bowl safety was ranging to his right, trying to defend the goal line in last season's opener, when Steve Johnson lined him up in his sights. The Bills wide receiver swooped in with his shoulder first and cut Berry down at the knees with a devastating block.
It was perfectly...
By creating their own Twitter accounts, professional sports teams are accepting that the benefits of using social media outweigh the negatives of having to listen to fans air out their grievances. Twitter makes it easy for fans to voice their frustrations directly to the team after a tough loss, and that’s exactly what Missouri resident Travis Wright chose to do after the team’s...
Kansas City Chiefs @ Buffalo BillsKansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs come off a thorough pasting at the hands of the full throttle passing game of the Atlanta Falcons; but wait, there’s hope! The only team that allowed significantly more points last week was the Buffalo Bills, so if there’s any game that Matt Cassel and company can bounce back in, it would be against this defense...
In back-to-back NFL seasons, the Buffalo Bills have had their way with the Kansas City Chiefs. Even more insulting is the fact they crushed them both times at Arrowhead Stadium. Now the Chiefs get a chance to return the favor with their first road contest of 2012.
(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By DAVE SKRETTA AP Sports Writer One of the intriguing plots in Sunday's game between the Chiefs and Bills involves Kansas City safety Eric Berry, who tore his left ACL when Buffalo's Steve Johnson blocked him at the knees in the 2011 season opener.
Berry tweeted in the offseason that he wondered whether it was done on purpose...
Week 2 gives NFL fans a very interesting matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Kansa City Chiefs. These were two teams who were picked by many experts, myself included as playoff sleepers in the preseason and who were both on the wrong side of blowouts in Week 1.The Bills’ “new look” defense was completely humiliated by a New York Jets' offense that failed to score a touchdown...
