With the Super Bowl in the books, the Kansas City Chiefs are now on the clock and the 2013 NFL Draft season is officially under way. For the next month, I’ll be taking a look at each and every NFL team, in draft order, and their needs heading into the draft. So, let us begin at the top with the team with the first overall pick. Quarterback As with every team that picks at the top of the draft, they’re usually in need of a quarterback and the Chiefs are no different. The Matt Cassel experiment turned out to be a flop and he should be a cap casualty soon. However, this is a bad year to need a quarterback first overall. Every mock draft out there right now has them taking Geno Smith because the options in free agency aren’t much better.
