Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley believes the Bears might be better with linebacker Brian Urlacher sidelined with an injury. “Urlacher is at the end of his career right now; he’s playing a little slow out there,” Finley said, per FOX Sports Wisconsin. “I don’t think they’re losing too much if he’s out. Putting another guy in might help them a little.” Bears linebacker Lance Briggs think Finley is an idiot for thinking they’re better without Urlacher. “He’s an idiot,” Briggs said, per the Chicago Sun-Times. “Just suit up and play ball. “His comments aren’t going to change the outcome of the game, they’re not going to help him or anybody else play better. Doesn’t really matter.”   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })(); sr_adspace_id = 1000005525107; sr_adspace_width = 300; sr_adspace_height = 250; sr_ad_new_window = true; sr_adspace_type = "graphic";

Finley: Replacing Urlacher might help Bears

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Packers tight end Jermichael Finley apparently hasn't been very impressed with the recent play of Chicago Bears future Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher. With NFC North rivals Green Bay and Chicago preparing for their 186th matchup on Sunday, Urlacher has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury. In Finley's view, Urlacher's absence might make...

GREEN BAY, Wis. The war of words between the Packers and Bears leading into their Sunday matchup continues to escalate. One day after Green Bay tight end Jermichael Finley said that Chicago linebacker Brian Urlacher is "playing a little slow" and that the Bears aren't "losing too much" if the 13-year veteran is not on the field, Urlacher's teammates...

Brian Urlacher takes a shot back at Jermichael Finley

Earlier this week, Green Bay Packer tight end Jermichael Finley came out and said the Bears are a better team without linebacker Brian Urlacher on the field. Bears Injury Report: Brian Urlacher, Tim Jennings, Henry Melton

While the Chicago Bears have already listed linebacker Brian Urlacher and cornerback Tim Jennings as out for tomorrow’s pivotal matchup against the Green Bay Packers, the team could also be without defensive linemen Henry Melton and Shea McClellin. BEARS 1, PACKERS 0

This here folks is a PACKER HOMER WEBSITE.  (Although Stevegoat has that love/hate thing going.) But we do call em as we see em.  Brandon Marshall and Jer-Fich have been running their mouth all week.   Marshall seeks revenge or some ********.  Finley says the Bears are better without Urlacher.  So Urlacher zings the below.  Well played Brian.  I like that guy. Yeah, I just...

Chicago Bears: A New Era Is About to Begin

Every year a football team loses a valuable player/leader during the regular season. This has happened to the Bears two years in a row. In 2011, the Bears lost their starting quarterback, Jay Cutler, to a season ending injury. This season, the Bears have lost their starting middle linebacker, Brian Urlacher, possibly for the reminder of the regular season. Neither Jay Cutler or...

Bears-Packers chirping adds new life to rivalry

Chicago Bears players Brandon Marshall and Lance Briggs don’t like the Green Bay Packers. Packers tight end Jermichael Finley opined that the Bears were better off with Brian Urlacher out of the lineup.
