Found March 19, 2012 on Fantasy Football Champs:
Strong safety LaRon Landry has agreed to a one-year deal with the New York Jets believed to be worth $4M, according to Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network. Fantasy Spin: Landry hits like a Mack Truck and could fit in well in New Yorks hard-nosed defense, but was only able to secure a one-year deal with concerns regarding the stability of his troublesome Achilles. So he will have to prove he is healthy in 2012 in order to get better financial security for the future.

New York Jets Moving To Next Tier Of Free Agents

It is fair to be disappointed about Reggie Nelson clearly using the New York Jets to jack up the price on the Cincinnati Bengals, who he chose to re-sign with. Nelson is a rangy, athletic player who would have been an immediate upgrade at free safety. However, Nelson is a good…not great player and thus not worth despairing over for too long. It is certainly too early to feel...
