At one time it seemed that few players were more reliable in terms of fantasy football production than Larry Fitzgerald. Shockingly though, Fitz now belongs on your bench. Ken Whisenhunt and Ryan Lindley saw to that. Fitzgerald hasn't been the same this season but he was at least solid, until Lindley was named the starter for some ungodly reason. He started the season getting 60 yards or more in six of seven games. Since he has done it just once and caught just one touchdown. SL (Since Lindley) the fantasy football stud has become a dud and has only 66 receiving yards and five receptions. Those numbers are astounding. I know you spent a high pick on Fitz and he has been a stud in the past but due to the ridiculously poor play of his quarterbacks and the stupidity of his coach you simply cannot play him anymore. It's sad but true. With the fantasy football playoffs set to start this weekend in many leagues, Larry Fitzgerald is no longer trustworthy as a fantasy option. Sure he has the talent to have a huge day so there's upside but the quarterback is too awful. Fitz has been on my bench the last two weeks. I was hoping he would make me pay but he didn't. Now he is just depth.

Is Whisenhunt status shaky as bad season worsens?

The Arizona Cardinals offense has been bad this season, but never worse than it was on Sunday. Its performance in the 7-6 loss to the New York Jets was among the worst in the team's history, and that's saying something for a franchise that's had a lot of bad Sundays. The team had five first downs, tied for fewest in franchise history, was 0 for 15 on third-down conversions...

Jets 7, Cardinals 6

Arizona Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt considered a quarterback change before sticking with the struggling Ryan Lindley. The argument for a switch - as the New York Jets did with Mark Sanchez - was compelling during the Cardinals 7-6 loss on Sunday, their eighth straight defeat. Lindley had a miserable game: 10 for 31 for only 72 yards, one interception and a dismal 28.0 quarterback...
