Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan thinks the defense will play much more like the second half of the 2012 season than it did earlier in the year.
“That’s what’s exciting about this season, because we had so many injuries on defense, and you kind of saw us figure it out in the second half of the season, but we need to be able to put that together for 16 games,” Kerrigan said, via the Star Press.
“That’ll be exciting, if we can.”
If linebacker Brian Orakpo returns to form after missing all of the 2012 season it will be a huge boost for the unit. The potential impact of a healthy Orakpo on the production of Kerrigan, who made it to the Pro Bowl in 2012, could him even more dangerous to enemy QB’s.
